  HANDLING HOLIDAYS
(Tim and Tina are a table in Indy Cafeteria, University of Ibadan. They are both eating jollof rice and beef.)
TIM:(Smiles)Tina Thino What is up now?
TINA:I am fine o.(Frowns) It's just that I am worried about the holidays.
TIM:What about it? Aren't you happy that we have a few weeks to rest after all the work we've done in school?
TINA:I am confused about what to do. I am thinking of learning a skill like hairdressing but the break is too short.
TIM:That's not bad, sha. Like you said, the break is too short. Why don't you just rest instead of stressing yourself? Abi. All work and no play make Tina a dull girl ooo.
TINA:Well, time is running out. This is my third year and all I know is school. I feel that I can't waste time any longer.(Folds her arms)
TIM:Hmmm. Okay, what can you learn within a few weeks? I mean, can you really learn anything and know it well.
TINA:I think I would check for one-week writing courses online so I'd learn. What do you think?
TIM: That's good. Doing stuff really helps. Maximising the little time I have is just my problem. I end up sleeping all day most times.
TINA:What will you do with the break? Will you sleep all through as usual? You've always behaved like a lazy man.
TIM:I don't know jare. Social media just consumes my time and my resources sef.
TINA:Ha! A waster can never be truly wealthy. I hope you know that. You should even learn how to drive. It's so shameful that at your age, you can't drive and your parents both have cars...



AUNTY GOODSENSE: As young people, we've got to maximize time. Somebody said when you waste your time, you waste your life!
Holidays are avenues for growth, experience, living.
God wants US to grow bigger and glow brighter.
Learn a skill. Do an internship. Read good books. Watch godly movies. Travel. Take some online courses.
